Bridgnorth Station on the Severn Valley Railway - where it all started in 1965

The first volunteers started to rebuild the new Severn Valley Railway back in 1965, newly privately owned as a preserved steam railway.  Since then, as the spiritual home of the now world-famous heritage steam railway, we continue to welcome new recruits to our friendly station - the best on the Severn Valley Railway in our opinion (no bias, of course..).
